In the 1950s young people were required to get a "Health Card" from the local Health Department before they could work in a Resturant. This meant blood tests were taken and if you had a Venereal Disease you could not be employed in any kind of food service.
Did you know that in the late 1800's up until the 1960s Adultery was against the law and you could be arrested for it? The law was on the books that long but never enforced. We live in a day when everyone does what is right in their own eyes. These are indeed sad things, but as a Christian, I'm comforted in knowing that God is in Control of all happenings.
